We recently visited The Burnt Tongue (King St) while vacationing in Canada from New Jersey. I really wanted to stay away from chain restaurants as much as possible and find local (affordable) places. Over the course of our week-long trip to Niagara and Toronto, this was one of my favorite places we ate! Prices were reasonable and food was delicious! If I lived closer to Hamilton, I would be at this restaurant every single day! Great food!
the tuna melt was flavorless and gave me an upset stomach, I didn't get my side, an apple and the carrot cake ice-cream sandwich on a hot day should have been tasty but it was not, also was too big. Prices are high for the menu and the service was gruff and he was expecting a 12%+ tip for counter service. I do not recommend this place.
Decent place...Locke St location has more seating than the other 2... Service is good... bathrooms and tables clean... probably one of my top 4 favourite places to eat in town
