I’m absolutely in love with this hotel. The detail is beyond anything Ive seen in a long time. Tue hotel is old and could use just a little bit of love hit it is beyond beautiful. The hotel service from the moment you arrive until the second you leave is the best I’ve had. And I’ve stayed at places like the Ritz Carlton and I think the browns service was better. The drinks at the bar were delightful and the food at both of their restaurants was delicious. We are already planning our next trip back :)

We had dinner after the candlelight orchestra at the Lobby Bar inside the Brown Hotel. The service was close to terrible. We sat down at 7:40 and paid the bill at 9:15. Had to ask for water. Plates weren't removed after appetizers nor dinner. The salt in the salt shaker was clumped and had actually turned a greenish color at the top. On the bright side the hot brown was very good. I did not stay at the hotel last evening. We attended a candlelight concert. We did eat at the lobby restaurant. Service was good. Food selection, in my opinion, was limited. The reason I’m writing this review is because the lobby and the venue room, the Chrystal ballroom were very warm. We were told that the unit was not running properly. The Chrystal ballroom also looked worn. The ceiling is pealing in several areas. I wonder why the company would let such a beautiful landmark look this way.
