Nate Dogg Does anyone remember Nathan that was the man downstairs in the basement years ago? Some called him Nate Dogg, he was awsome and the place was packed because of him, anyone know if he is still bartending around town? He was so funny always had long hair and wore silly shirts.Can you bring him back even if it is just for a reunion weekend, along with Rogue the guy that is missing a hand.
Good place to watch a game The Brooksider is always hopping with a sporting event on one of the many tv's in the bar. Afternoons feature more locals, and at night this is a college hangout. Daily drink specials.
Great location for a great hangout Good beer, good specials, great atmosphere. Fun place to hang out with friends, watch the game, and unwind after work. Located in Brookside, it's a great central location to meet up with friends.
College bar The brooksider is your standard college bar atmosphere. They often have live music upstairs and dance music in the basement. The newer patio is nice in the summer, but the inside leaves something to be desired. The crowd is definitely on the younger side, especially as the night goes on. Although beer and house wells tend to be cheap, i have been surprised by paying $7 for non-house liquor, so be warned, not everything is cheap.
Restaurants Brookside is a great place for entertainment and for just walking around. The Brooksider Bar and Grill is a friendly bar with good food and a great neighborhood atmosphere.
Great location The Brooksider is an overall really nice place. The location is wonderful. The food is good. The staff is friendly. Brookside is a great place to walk around and then go sit at the Brooksider. I would definitely recommend this place.
