Food was way too salty and overcooked. Expensive for what it is. Restaurant is dark, loud, and stuffy.
I was intially excited to see a new place opening in Scott's Addition. But then they posted their menu. $6 for a Diet Coke? Down from $8? Fountain sodas do not cost that much to make, charging that much is ridiculous. And that's just the tip of the iceburg. The owners are extremely rude and clearly do not care about the community they're trying to do business in! We had such a great dinner at Brooklyn recently. My daughter and I decided at the last minute to see if we could get in, and I'm so glad we arrived before they opened. We didn't have reservations, but by getting there early and waiting in line, we were able to snag two seats at the bar. The bar ended up being the perfect place to sit. We overlooked much of the open kitchen and loved watching the chef, sous chefs, and prep team work together.
