WARNING: Do not go to Brookdale hospital. Certain parts of the hospital is old and dirty. All of the staff have an attitude and the wait time is ridiculous. You will be sitting in the ER for 24hr. If you’re not in a critical state don’t go to Brookdale hospital. Go to Kings County hospital or any other hospital in Brooklyn. Brookdale needs to be shut down, the lack of care is ridiculous.
⭐️⭐️ I am giving Brookdale’s Emergency Department two stars, and that feels generous. My mother arrived short of breath and in a wheelchair, yet there appeared to be no meaningful initial triage at the entrance. We first had to wait in line, and I ultimately had to approach staff, nearly in tears, asking that someone assess her breathing. Father started blacking out and was forced to go here although I specifically said a much better hospital! We got there at 10:30a was seen right away which is a plus! After examining him he was taken for an MRI after roughly 35 minutes. Another plus! He was then taken from the creek unit and put on the emergency dept to wait for a room so they could examine him further. While waiting he was given good which is under another plus cause the good was pretty decent according to pops! .....BUT UNFORTUNATELY that's where it ends!!... read more
I love this hospital!!!! I had to be hospitalized for 3 weeks and 2 days. And I have to say every single person from the staff to the patients helped me get better. They helped me get HOME!!!!!
