Brookdale was never known for its service, but this time they out did themselves. I was admitted for three days, a nurse left me in an operating room for 2 hours and completely forgot about me until my mom went frantic but since it wasn't visiting hours they refuse to let her in so I had to scream. After my operation they placed me on a dirty bed and gave me a used pillow. If I could give zero stars I would. I waited almost 6 hours to not be seen. This is the most abysmal institution I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. Mind I needed to be checked out for injuries due to a car accident. I'll be going to an ER in Manhattan tomorrow instead. The lack of care , the lack of respect , the over abundance of rudeness from those that are supposed to be helping. I wouldn't recommend a dog go here let alone a person.
Stay away it’s GARBAGE!. Brookdale will kill if you’re not careful. There’s a collectively engrained incompetence at these facilities. If you love your family & friends stay away. Go to Columbia Presbyterian Hospitals, Advantage Care Facilities(ACPNY) or NorthWell/LIJ hospitals. I don’t understand how NYC and/or insurance companies have permitted this hospital to stay open. It’s frankly unfathomable to me
