We had heard so many great things about the Brook in Gaylord that when it was time to move our mother into assisted living, we came to check it out for ourselves. Diane showed us around and told us about all of the services provided. We were impressed! Then we met the manager, Andrew. He was so thorough and answered all of our questions. Mom moved in to a one bedroom independent apartment in Gaylord August 2018. She immediately made several friends and began taking part in a few activities. As the years passed her health began to decline so a move to the assisted living side was necessary. She was able to still visit with her same friends and partake in some of the same activities (and add several more), all while getting the assistance she required. Prefect place for my mother. All the staff treat my mother like she is family. Andrew is my mother’s super hero , if all else fails ask Andrew! Diane is my favorite but sister and brothers like Faith, Sonya, Snooki ( in the kitchen) and others.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience my family and I have had at The Brook retirement community in Gaylord. From the moment we stepped through the doors, it felt like a true home, and this warmth continues to resonate throughout the facility. The staff at The Brook are nothing short of fabulous.
