Yummy food at a good price
Went here for our wedding anniversary. The prime rib was tough and over done to what we ordered. Both cuts were seared and browned on the outside It was obvious that the meat was pretty sliced and reheated on a griddle or fry pan. Atmosphere was good, but the music playing was a bit too loud. Service was good, but the Prime Rib we came for was not what I would have expected. It was tough, and overcooked.
We decided one Saturday on a whim to try this place out and it did not disappoint. The food is always delicious and our server Taylor is always a delight and happy when we come in for dinner. Some of the best crab legs I've ever had at a restaurant and for a very affordable price.
Very disappointing experience at the Broken Spur tonight. I ordered the bourbon steak tips for $27. The menu clearly stated that the entrée included the chef’s vegetable and one side, so I planned to upgrade my side to cheese curds for an additional $4. However, the server told me the steak tips did not come with any sides and that the menu was incorrect. She even said she has to explain this to customers frequently. Very disappointed. Read the reviews and went out for a nice dinner. Ribs were so dried out, not good. Husband steak was ok. Waitress was not attentive. Had to keep asking for water, I guess there is a water shortage. Kitchen music was blaring. Who wants to listen to that when getting dressed up and going out for a nice dinner? Will not go back!
