After a bad experience at a different memory care facility for my dad, I can say that the Bristal has been a gift to my family. The place is very clean and well maintained. My dad’s room is clean and smells clean. The food is good and there are choices at every meal. The staff has been wonderful. They have gotten to know my dad, and they show him kindness and respect. in reading all of these outstanding reviews, it feel like my mother-in-law, may she rest in peace, was in a different facility. Starting with the "sales pitch". It is a beautiful building. We saw the spa, the fitness center, the crafts room...all beautiful. Are they used by the guests, regularly or at all? The dining staff and aids, work very hard and are understaffed. I can't say enough good things about the Bristal in Lake Success. My dad was there for close to 9 months until his passing. He arrived with pretty advanced stage dementia and was greeted so kindly by everyone. The staff is kind beyond words and just excellent overall. I don't know what we would have done without the Bristal! From the friendly front desk person to the person wiping my dad's tushy! lol.
