I had a BCC cut out of my arm here. The doc told me he used to be a surgeon. I don't think so. I compared it to my son's scar when he had a similiarly-placed BCC cut out at the same time in a different clinic, and his wound was finely stitched, and followed the contours of his skin and is invisible. The 4 knots in my stitches were huge, and the wound did not follow the contours of my skin so the wound is still quite visible. Another extremely disappointing experience at this practice. Why did i go back!? I booked an appointment after already having a professional diagnosis elsewhere and made it clear I simply wanted to discuss next steps. The appointment lasted barely three minutes, offered nothing new, and I was basically told to either proceed with a procedure or not. Went twice and never got reimbursed with Medicare. Visited and rang several times to follow up on this and the receptionist blamed computer problems and then blamed Medicare. She told me to contact them because there’s nothing else she could do. After an hour on the phone to Medicare, they told me that the Bright side clinic hadn’t processed the information correctly and to contact them again. I’ve given up on ever getting any Medicare rebate. Post script. My Medicare rebate finally came through over a month after visiting.
