The Westside Garden is a beautiful building, and a wonderful Senior Living community.

Lifecare facility would be top rated if they would weed out the bad apples in the facility and find people that actually care about the residents that live there. As a former employee i was treated harsh. There is attitude all day with no compassion for the residents or staff. Everyone is treated horribly that enters this facility, new staff or resident. If your looking to place someone for rehab or long termcare. I suggest to look elsewhere. If your in need of employement I also suggest you look else where. You will regret ... read more

My grandfather was transferred from ICU to this facility. This facility is grossly and dangerously understaffed and this has been demonstrated time and time again. The severe neglect started happening within less than 24 hours. The neglect started within 24 hours of him staying there. He pushed the assistance call button attached to his bed to request help to get up and go to the bathroom A staff member came in and said she would be right back with someone to help him. She never came back. He had an accident in the bed becau... read more

The post from marilynshope sounds like a disgrunteled employee. My mother resides here, and she loves it, and WE love our mother being there. It's beautiful. Staff is professional and caring and friendly. If they fired 5 people like marilynshope's post stated, it was undoubtedly because they put their resident's above all else.

As of 2013, there is a new management team. at the end of the day, they do not care about your parent or loved one, they care about what the dollar sign is. They just took 5 jobs from women on the Independent Living side and told them they have two weeks of work left. And it is not so they can have better care. Its so they can make more money. The care of the residents comes from the Nursing staff. And they keep that as short as they can. Rushed time limits. Not what you see on the TV in their new commercial!
