I knew alterations were part of buying a wedding dress — but I didn’t expect to need so many, or for them to cost almost as much as the dress after already spending $1,700 on a final-sale gown. I found my dress in the “dresses under $800 event”. It was so easy. All of the sample dresses were arranged in order of size and they were all $800, so I didn’t have to check tags for sizes or prices. We got to pull and try on as many as we liked. Oh. My. God. I cannot express the absolute joy that is Cecilia. I have never pictured myself getting married and as this was my first experience trying on dresses, Cecilia made sure that I felt special, beautiful, and confident.
