Honeymooned here in 1976. Returning in 2026 for 50th Anny.
I am writing this review from the perspective of being a seasonal employee for the past 2 years. As a hospitality worker for more than 15 years I have never met so many guests of a place rave with as many compliments as they do when they stay at Breakwaters. The location speaks for itself. Bedbugs and black mold in 4A!!! My wife and I stayed in unit 4A last week and we noticed immediately that the bathroom had black mold. The shower curtain/liner and the window curtains/blinds all had mold. The day before we left we noticed a great deal of bug bites on us both. My wife left the property with 100+ bites on her legs. Overall, the property was filthy! We've never stayed at a rental property this bad. Please do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else!
Charming little cottage (emphasis on little!!!). Shared wall in the bedroom with another cottage so was a little noisy at bedtime. Favorite thing was drinking coffee on the patio looking at the water.
Really enjoyed our stay. Great location!
