A Ho Jo no more This is no longer a Howard Johnson's franchised restaurant. The previous operator has now taken it over as a private owner. I'm not sure of the new name. But it was always an OK place to eat and probably still is with the same persons running it. They featured "all you can eat" nights with fish a specialty.
Amazing clam strips Great place. Definitely worth the trip from new haven. A friend suggested that we go there for the fried clam strips. Amazing not the typical frozen strips. The waitress explained that the clams are fresh hand breaded and made to order. I will be back.
A little costy, but the staff is pleasant, the place is clean, and the food is good.
