If you like ice cream AND great homemade food items then this is a stop for you. They also have egg creams, shakes, malts and phosphates! They make the majority of their fountain syrups in house and have Sprecher's Root Beer syrup, in addition. Homemade soups are served hot and timely. Burgers, Blue Plate Dinners, hot and cold sandwiches. All-in-all well worth the 8 miles detour poff of I-80, do not miss this great stop. Brass fountain is a great compromise with a family. All the food items kids want, plus shakes, etc. With a few more sophisticated menu items too. It's a little bit pricey, but worth it.
