Good customer service however Ron charges unfair prices. I was quoted $1200 for simple work which I refused and took my car to another shop who did the work for only $350
4/4/2025. I went to my dealer for 2 yrs with a problem with my Acura front end noise. I was told about Ron at brake&General repair shop.. i was told he is old school,wealth of knowledge about Vehicles! I felt i needed his experience. Ron took 20mins to find my issue.. That the car dealer could not find!!!! I was So happy and appreciated his real mechanics skill. GUYS THIS IS A GOLD FIND IN WATERBURY CONNECTICUT.. I won't go anywhere else! Fast and reliable! I have a very long work commute so I find my car in need of maintenance often and I always take it here. No unnecessary repairs, no waste of time and money like a dealership. Just fast, friendly, professional service! Edit: 3 years after I posted this review and it's still the only place I take my car.
I tried other shops in this area but have only used Ron now for years. Ron is by far the most honest mechanic around. He doesn’t make up costs your vehicle doesn’t need and always does quality work with fair prices.
