the nurses laughed at me when i flinched and one of the nurses got mad at me for throwing up due to an allergic reaction to my medicine. generally rude except for two techs i forgot the names of this place needs to be shut down. every review on here sounds the same. the patients here feel dehumanized and mistreated and in the end worse than when they went in.
I highly recommend Mrs. Ashley Wilson and the staff at St. Francis. Mrs. Wilson is an outstanding psychiatrist who truly cares about her patients and their well-being. She is a great listener, very knowledgeable about medications, and always makes sure her patients feel heard, supported, and cared for. I’ve been seeing Ashley, a Nurse Practitioner, under Dr. John, for a year, as my Psychiatrist was retiring soon. Her care has been instrumental in my recovery. She is kind, compassionate and always goes above and beyond! The staff here is kind, as well. I had a slight issue with an employee, just having a bad day, I guess. Nothing major and I communicated that to Ashley and it was remedied immediately. Way too cold in the uninsured building. The day room is freezing, almost inhabitable. Staff pretty good but not fond of the uninsured medical doctor but the psychologist are good. The food is ok but they don't have the condiments to match. Diabetic patients but no sweetener, for example. Nothing but cold water was available, drink machine and fountain broken. No activities or outside time as listed on the daily schedule. Meds and mental health questions is what you basically get if uninsured. No real therapy but at least som... read more
