I was not impressed. My first visit was with both a resident and a student. My valid concerns about my ADHD symptoms were basically blown off and I was told they would be treating issues that I already have under control ( anxiety and depression)and didn't really seem to validate my concerns. My problem with Crisis stabilization units is that they do not check for hormones, thyroid, and T4 levels as first line of treatment because it's not cost effective. So, instead they rather treat the symptoms with antidepressants ect instead of the cause. If I was a doctor then I would check those things first, but instead they don't. This ensures that you'll come back everytime. I have yet to meet a success story over the long run for these treatments. Infact, the patients digress into worse and worse state of being. I went their when I was 14 I think because I was saying I wanted to harm myself and when I got their I immediately knew I was safe your staff is amazing I am currently 16 in high school and my struggles have been gone since thank you guys so much for helping me I could not have grown up without y'all help thank yall
Not good
Staff is slightly okay, the entire protocol is absolutely terrible and that entire center should be shut down. It left my kid feeling dehumanized, disoriented, and traumatized for simply stating words that were not sugarcoated. This entire facility should be ashamed of the way they handle business and the way they handle minors. Left in a cold room for 3 hours and tried to take my kid in for a hold.
