It wasn't what I was expecting kinda bland
Lovely location, great wedding venue.
Cafe review: Got Shaved Brussels Salad takeout today, it was disappointing, flavor was too tangy and the pecans and bacon were chewy. I was expecting more hearty greens like Brussels but it was mostly lettuce, didn’t have a great texture. 3 stars. Previously I got the Italian sandwich, that was better, 3.5- 4 stars. On the Downtown Mall, Tillmans, rev soup, Fitzroy, the wich lab (takeout sandwiches only), have salads and sandwiches at a similar price point that have always been 5 stars for me, and I’ve gone many times. VENUE! So cool. Converted bank creates a very nice atmosphere. I conduct many of my lunches or coffee talks here. The chef is always on point for a nice lunch that is never too much or too little. Quest: Write to an acquaintance or someone you got their business card from and take them out for a coffee. Block off 45min-hour and just be in the space with this person you barely know. Make the world friendly, one cup of coffee at a time!
