Dr. McFarland is a perfectionist, which is what you want in an orthodontist! He does excellent work and his rates are affordable. I got braces in my late 20s and while reluctant at first, I have never regretted the decision.
I went here years ago and my father tried telling him the braces caused my TMJ. He denied it and said it was just how I am. He was also rude. I'm seeing all these negative reviews and have always known. When Dr. Miller left it went down hill. Now I have tmj and my face structure changed. I'm glad I'm not alone as other reviews say the same thing. I've felt so ugly and awful about myself as TMJ not only causes me so much pain but I literally have a weak jaw now. Dr. McFarland you suck. Please stop ruining lives.
myself and several of my siblings have all had bad experiences here. the ortho will tell you that you’re going to have braces for a specific amount of time, then keep adding months until way more time has passed than you anticipated. one of my sisters in particular was in braces for about a year longer than he told her it would take. i had a friend who had to have her jaw broken because they messed up her bite so badly: the options they gave her were 5 more years of braces or jaw surgery. additionally, the ortho is creepy to... read more
