Hello, We just completed our stay. Upon arrival I realized I had left my license at home. I had credit cards with my name on it , and my email with the reservation and confirmation (that was paid) but did not have another form of identification. The reservation was in my name so I was told “We cannot check you in without ID it’s our policy”. Perfect in every way imaginable, esp because of the staff and sauna and fitness center and views from the balcony and breakfast, and everything!!! Will be back!!! 😀

I was disappointed in The Box Hotel for many reasons. After staying at The Box Hotel, I noticed there were others that had the same experience that I did. One price on the phone and a different one on the email. There was a promise the room block discount would appear at the end of the stay. The discount for the room block was strategically different. There were extra charges not approved on the bill. The 2 bedroom suite was on the second floor with no elevator. This was a hassle for the wedding party. So many dresses to car... read more

Buyer beware of pricing. Contract values over phone are not what you get. Miscellaneous items are charged. If you must stay here for an event do not book via hotel book via booking.com or Expedia or hotel.com you will be more protected with pricing. Not all rooms have an elevator. Who wants lug up everything for a wedding 2 flights of stairs?
