Charm in Santa Maria I love to read, and I hate paying the price for a new book, so I'm always in search of a good-used book store. I live in SF but visit Santa Maria often to see the inlaws so was looking for bookstore when I came upon this one. The store is small but cute, and is decorated with all my favorite kinds of things like fairies, dragons, old santas etc., and there is a good selection of books. Bookworm The nice thing about this book store is that you can sit down in any one of the comfortable chairs and peruse your book before deciding on your purchase. The owner is pleasant, helpful, and very knowledgeable, and she knows her inventory.
Lots of Books, Very Friendly Service This used book store has a very good selection of paperback books and collectible hardbound books, and the owner really knows her merchandise. If you inquire about the availability of a book she knows whether she has it or not, and can go right to it. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
The Bookworm This is a great used book store that is located in the Ross shopping center. The store is not exceptionally large, but it does contain a ton of books. The woman that runs the store is very friendly and seems to know everything that is on the shelf. If you ask for a particular book, she will take you right to it.
