Love this place, but as of 1/4/26 it’s temporarily closed
This classic club is in NOLA on Conti St and part of the historic Prince Conti Hotel. The Bombay Club is infamous for jazz and blues. So famous Sammy Davis Jr, Sinatra, and the original Rat Pack played there in its heyday. When I got there December 1, 2025 it was close to closing and new owners taking over. They were literally drinking till it's gone. I got to help them while listening to live female lounge singers like you see on TV. It was a very relaxing night cap while in New Orleans.
If you’re visiting the Bombay Club, you have to meet Marcus. He’s a chef, but honestly, he could open his own restaurant and just serve fries—because he makes the BEST French fry on the planet. Came in for a few cocktails had the best service and drinks. Our bartender can't remember her name was amazing!! Now let me tell u about the French fries Marcus made for us! Best ever!!! Hot perfect crunch and the perfect amount out of salt and pepper!!! Best I have had!!!
