Popped in for a quiet drink to be confronted with the rudest bar tender I have ever come across. I’ve been to a lot of bars in my time and this barman topped the lot! Didn’t want to give us glasses for our cans of beer. Slammed the cocktails on the bar and muttered and swore under his breath. Arrogant beyond belief.
The wood paneled vibe was cool. There was a two piece band Velvet Strings playing that was very enjoyable. But the service sucked. It was relatively empty and took over an hour to get our food. Food was unremarkable. When we asked for the check, we were told the machine was rebooting and it would take 5 minutes. I grabbed one of our uncleared menus and calculated the tax and undeserved tip, left the cash and walked out. My cocktail was good, so maybe drinks only would be a better experience.
