This place used to be so great. Fantastic happy hour, cool fusion food, great atmosphere…and now it’s another generic junk drawer run of the mill place with nothing special. Disappointing as locals who used to frequent.
“Like a glove… of curry!” Walking into The Bombay Club felt like stepping into the Ace Ventura 2 director’s cut — the one they don’t show you because it’s too spicy for theaters and WAY too buttery. One of the worst dining experiences I have had anywhere, but definitely the worst in New Orleans. My friend and I walked in around 10:00 pm. They had a comedy act, but were not at all busy. We were told to sit anywhere so we picked a back corner in order to have a conversation over the act. Other guests were seated in the same area when we sat down.
