Bombay Beach Estates is a very interesting and strangely unique place to visit. A mobile home park that once housed folks who had hoped that the Salton Sea would in the future be the American "French Riviera ". But sadly, a series if storms hit this part of the imperial county in the mid 1970's, Bombay Beach was flooded out. This storm caused a lot of the property in Bombay Beach to be abandoned. One of those abandoned areas is the Bombay Beach Estates. A very wonderful place to visit in this town.
This place is awesome! You could get lost out here for hours looking at all the random art everyone has made in the surrounding area. Beach is cool with lots of random art and the town is very cool also.
