Let's start by saying Cornel was amazing! I live in the DC area, I happened to find this venue by chance while searching near my in laws house. I was immediately able to work with her regarding what I wanted and I was open to suggestions which she provided. She gave me color suggestions regarding table cloths and liners that matched out color theme perfectly. On top of this she was able to help connect us with her LGBTQ friendly vendors that made our night magical. If you have the chance to use her venue please do!
It's beautiful and secluded. It is a great place to just get away from the rest of the world for a while.
Wonderful venue! It was an affordable and beautiful venue that made our wedding a perfect one. Each of our 71 guests left happy. Cornel was very organized and helped pull everything together. She went above and beyond her contract in helpfulness, friendliness, and the food she cooked! She helped us find a wonderful florist who matched our complex colors. Venue 9/10, owner 1/10. Be prepared for an owner who forces herself as your de facto wedding planner and refuses to let you run the event the way you envisioned (and planned during consultations). As a guest at a recent wedding, I saw the Bride and Groom denied things as simple as an extra table near the alter or a moment to themselves before walking down the aisle because the owner insisted the ceremony begin.
