‼️ warning: do not buy gift cards from the body shop. Here’s my story below as it could happen again. I was really shocked with the poor communication from the body shop. It’s changed owners. However I still will hold them responsible. We bought a gift card and they filed chapter 11 and never gave us an opportunity to use our gift card. It was over $100. I really love their products, they’re very good quality. However, my experience at the Richmond Centre location in Vancouver wasn’t great. The customer service made me feel uncomfortable, the staff kept following me and pushing products even after I said I was just browsing. I didn’t feel like I had any space to shop on my own. After I made a purchase, the employee even asked again what payment I used, which made me feel like I was being suspected of something. I was just buying a gift for my mother. I was there 3or 4 days ago at closing time for last minute gift shopping, the staff was nice enough to wait for me after closing time, and picked out products fast and efficient!! Really good service!!

Worst shopping experience ever. The salesperson was extremely rude and impatient. Just because I didn’t hear what she said something the first time during check out, she snapped “HELLO??” in a very dismissive tone instead of politely repeating. Completely unprofessional and impolite. I left the store feeling disrespected—definitely won’t be coming back.
