I will never shop at The Body Shop again. I was appalled by how rude the staff were during my recent visit. The owners of The Body Shop should be very concerned as this behavior could severely damage their reputation. The website advertised a free gift worth £12, which was available to claim in-store. We drove 20 minutes to our nearest location, only to be rudely informed that there were no free items left. My family has been a regular customer of body shop and due to our recent experience at this store, we're considering moving all of our purchases to Lush. We usually go to the Brighton branch but did to convenience sake, we've popped by the Hove branch. We've been informed that this store is independent which means their price tag and customer service standard didn't have to abide to the level of treatment we get from the regular Body Shop store. Dear Body Shop brand team, it's clear reading these reviews that the manager of this store is toxic and is upsetting customers and dragging down your image. Why are you allowing this and not revoking her franchise rights? Time to get a new franchisee for this store, it's affecting your brand image now. 'It's a franchise' is no excuse. Very friendly staff and happy vibe every time I go into this body shop. Amazing range of products, dog friendly and so welcoming defo a gem of George Street ❤️
