I really loved this place, and I love the experience of the healing waters. However, when I walked in the door initially, no one was really there but within about 15 minutes it was very crowded in the waiting area,almost uncomfortable. It was a great experience! I went to the location of Newport, I've heard the location in Providence is also excellent!
My husband and I have been coming to this specific location for years for the water journey and we have always loved it. Unfortunately, we had a really crappy experience. There is a “strict” whisper/silent and no cell phone policy - but they didn’t really seem to bother having people follow it. Multiple people were quite loud, and someone was on their cellphone the entire time, using a flashlight at times. I went in for the bodhi specialty massage and was pretty shocked by the experience. The masseuse was nice, but I would not even call this a massage- it was essentially getting oil rubbed on my body (for $160). The facility was nice and it was relaxing for sure, but the massage was a total miss. Very unique day spa, with an indoor hydro journey, mineral water spas, herbal steam, saunas and cold plunge. Outdoor relaxation area very Zen and locker rooms with everything you need to send you on your way refreshed and glowing. Can get loud when people try to converse over the jets and steam. They also have treatment rooms although I have never tried these options.
