Easy boarding, clean well maintained boat. Relaxing and calm meander up and down the river. The captain was friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. It was $12 each adult and lasted about half an hour. I believe there are two runs an hour.
Really enjoyed the Boatman (grilled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce). Came with chips. Was there with a large group and everyone enjoyed their meals.
My kids had so much fun on the paddle boats! Such a fantastic family experience. The paddle boats are impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the customer service was excellent. The Avon is simply lovely, and being surrounded by swans and ducks made it feel magical; a gorgeous, relaxing outing for both kids and adults. Next time we'll bring hats, because the sun catches you pretty strongly on the way back!
