We rented a pontoon from The Boat Shop this week. The pontoon was new and modern. Outdoor staff were helpful in providing driving instructions and helping us in and out. I’m super grateful they are dog friendly too! I’m only giving four stars because the reservation process needs work. It was hard to figure out how to book online. I called the shop and they seemed annoyed to have to answer my questions. They also never explained that I needed a license, so rather than starting at our reserved time, I wasted 20 minutes taking... read more

Had a great time renting a boat for the afternoon. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. They had us in and out quickly, and when we accidentally left a pair of sunglasses on board, someone ran them up to the parking lot before we drove off. Above and beyond service for sure.
Was very dissapointed with this place...in order to rent a wave runner, you have to take an extensive test that includes watching a video and filling out multiple online forms...then after all that you are told you have to stay in a limited area and you can not beach the jet ski to take a swim...there were limited life vests for larger sized adults and the ones we got were way too tight...The lake itself is not clean...the water is brown and there are oil slicks everywhere...you have to board from a dock which was difficult ... read more
