Derek great mechanic and very knowledgeable.Got the schooling that is needed for this marine business. I will recommend anybody with a boat issue to him, no matter what boat engine you have. Labor cost was very reasonable. I live 1.5 hrs away and he will have my business forever!!!

UPDATE: Derek with Boat Doctor did end up reaching out. He admitted that he had dropped the ball, apologized, and owned it without making any excuses. He then made it a priority to get my boat looked at, diagnosed the issue quickly, and fixed it at a competitive price. I even had him do the winterizing for me. When talking with Derek, I realized how busy he is and how many boats he gets thru his shop as it continues to grow and flourish based on the quality of work and competitive prices. I have an issue my inboard/outboard not wanting to raise up on my boat, leaving the prop about 2” off the ground. I saw on the Boat Doctor website that they offer mobile service and could come to me. So I reached out to him back in July and sent him pics of what was going on and he said it was leaking trim fluid. I asked him when it would work to come out and he had said the following week. I took my boat the The Boat Doctor on a friends recommendation after getting terrible service at a nearby repair shop (Soo Sports). My AM/FM radio was not working and the livewell was not functioning properly. Soo Sports told me they "couldn't figure out the wiring on the boat because they didn't have a wiring diagram." Within 45 minutes of me dropping it off at The Boat Doctor, I got a video showing all of my livewell issues fixed and my AM/FM radio working.
