we stayed at the Island, and this place was perfect. 5 nights and never cranked the car super close and lots to chose from.
This is a really great destination. We drove here and spent our beach day at the public beach. There are bathrooms and outside showers to get the sand off. There are also very convenient shops and restaurants. Free parking, too!
