Meeting family members . I am a wheelchair user and the staff could not be Moore helpful and the restaurant and loo were totally accessible. Unfortunately my brother’s Labrador dog had a seizure and collapsed. The manager and his staff were brilliant and couldn’t have been more helpful; the dog was lifted onto a trolley and my brother parked in their loading bay and the manager gently lifted the poorly dog into my brother’s car. We were asked to chose a table outside and told "somebody will be with you soon to take your order". After waiting for 5 mins we had to ask for a menu ( they were not overly busy) and it was another 5 mins before we ordered. Seasonal veg to accompany the sausages and mash was broccoli only, which my friend has an intolerance to, so on asking the server about alternative veg, he had to go and check (he really should have known) and came back saying they only had peas, which was not impressive or Seasonal being available all y... read more
On the pier over the sea what more can be said
Waited 20 mins to be served then had to go inside to order and people were getting served before me until the young girl piped up to the guy that we had not been served. He then took our order and missed things off but I had already paid the bill. When asked Where's mine ?he went inside bought card machine and asked me to pay again. On leaving I realised I had paid 2 different prices for the same thing but it was too late I had already left.
