I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the BMI Clinic. I entered the program with genuine commitment and was assured from the very beginning that I could expect to lose 10–15kg with the balloon procedure. I can't recommend The BMI Clinic in Double Bay highly enough. I have been struggling with weight issues for about 10 years as I've gotten older. I also developed a few health issues that came with them. Dr. Rattan booked me in for an endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty after going through all the different options. I initially wanted a balloon. I was advised the sleeve was my best option with less complications. The doctor was running 40 minutes late for the appointment. I approached the receptionist to politely ask how much longer it would be and explain that I couldn’t wait much longer due to other commitment’s. This receptionist was incredibly condescending and rude and kept repeating that this was just the nature of seeing a specialist. We may be foreigners but we’re not complete idiots. Good work.
Very disappointed with the service. I arrived 10 mins before closure for a regular blood test, the lady attending mentioned that she had closed her computer as a request from her manager and no more test will be performed. She suggested to go to Bondi, and that will take take 2 more hours of my day due to the fact that this clinic does not respect the timing included on the website.
