The Valentine's day prefix menu was not good, the best part was the dessert. The wine pairings to go with the prefix menu were okay. Overall, disappointing experience.
I have been eating out at upscale restaurants my whole life. I have never returned a meal after eating 1 bite. My husband is by no means picky and he could not eat his meal either. We paid $200 for a special Valentine’s 4 course dinner and couldn’t eat more than a bite or two of any of the courses, even dessert. We did not ask for a refund and we tipped our server generously but we will never go back.
Don't skip dessert! They're decadent and creative enough to wow the daughter of a pastry chef (me). The portions look small but you won't leave hungry. The staff was lovely, too!
Friendly, attentive service. Delicious food. My toasted barley and squash was a heady mix of textures and was a gorgeous presentation of tasty mushrooms, while the crab pasta had crab in every bite! The shepherds pie was also a win with a delightful mix of potato, lamb, peas and carrots. Only reason for 4 star was that one of six of us ordered a burger medium well, and it came out a bit raw.
