excellent food – I think Bluebird is more known for their beer and wine selection, but I was very impressed with the food too! I went with a friends, and we actually didn't get any drinks, but we shared the beet salad, chicken wings, and a flatbread. I went to bluebird on a busy Saturday night with some girlfriends and the service was spot on as well as the food. We shared a variety of different things but the Mushroom Risotto and the flatbread pizzas were the best. The ingredients were fresh and so were the waiters. (They have some hotties!)
Love the Bluebird – Sure the bartenders are a little snotty, IT'S A WINE BAR. Doesn't mean they aren't helpful and easily broken down. I've been to the Bluebird about a dozen times. They have an extensive wine and beer list and lots of great bourbons/whiskeys. I recently took my 82 year old mother there for a prosecco on her birthday before heading off to Le Bouchon. Very Disappointing – Uneducated bar tenders try their hardest not to please in this poorly run and rude establishment. If you wish to pay for extremely over priced beer and cardboard food join the line of fools.
Quality wine list, reasonable prices, great decor – The service at Bluebird was excellent...our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and dishes.
