I’m convinced many stylists here simply don’t know how to cut hair properly—including this salon. It seems the default is always a bob, no matter what the client asks for. Not everyone wants to look decades older than they are, especially when paying premium prices. I asked for a wolf cut—straightforward, choppy, point-cut texture. Janelle charged me $240 for highlights and a cut on short hair, shorter than my shoulders. She seemed angry at her husband who works along side her in the salon all day. There was an uncomfortable tension the entire time. But $240? Absolutely ridiculous.
