It’s a cool atmosphere and the service was decent but the food was not good at all. The batter for the fried green tomatoes and catfish and shrimp was not flavorful and very disgusting. I wish we would have took the hint when we saw no one there and tried a different spot. Just trying to save someone the $100 mistake we made.
Sweet, attentive staff, great food, and a nice drink selection. Plus one of the only patios outside of the park that you don't have to stare at the highway. Been coming here for years. Just know if there is a wait, it's well worth it!
Ik that it was alot of people I. Town due to archery but man waiting an hour because the girl just started and doesn't know where anything is......then forgetting our sides meanwhile went back to get them only to realize we were still on hold because the phone was put down to clean and close......no bueno...also my ole ladies salad was said to have add-ons paid for them wasnt there most likely wont be back
We are foodies and always love trying local places. The Blue Rooster sounded like it was up our alley with their claims of the best fried chicken. All I can say is, no lies were told! The food quantity was adequate for two people and the fried chicken was a 10+. Definitely a place we'd go to the next time we're in town.
A little pricey, but in a tourist town so that is expected. The good was pretty good! We had frid picked and jalapeños and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. They were yummy! Then we had fried fish, chicken tenders,burger, frog legs and a salad for lunch. We got coleslaw for one of the sides. It was differen,but pretty good. As far as service goes you pretty much have to flag your waitress down to get anything once t good is brought out.
