I wouldn’t work this job again if It was the only option I had! Turn around time is HORRIBLE! You would have to have no kids and/or life to work this job. They don’t care about you , your kids , your health or anything! Management is so mean and nasty to their employees! Worst place to work

When I tried to donate platelets the employee didnt have a clear mix pack of fluids for the return and put the pressure up to high. That is why I never completed a platelet donation at the blood connection. That could have killed me.

First time blood donor here. First, the young lady at intake was very kind and friendly. She really made me feel at ease. The lady that drew my blood, explained step by step what she was doing. I also had a few questions that she answered. I left feeling a sense of relief, because I was very anxious prior to going in, not knowing what to expect. Overall, the girls I encountered were very professional and friendly. I will be going back for future donations.
