Athena did an awesome job making me comfortable with what’s usually a usual uncomfortable experience. She is great!
Athena was amazing! She handled multiple patients on her own and kept us comfortable. My boyfriend has rolling veins and was nervous, but she got it on the first try. We’ll definitely be back!
The staff are all incredibly sweet. However, the recent switch to OrSense hemoglobin monitors, which are clinically proven to be inaccurate, is deferring perfectly healthy donors. Incredibly sad that they'd willingly institute a machine that has been proven to be inaccurate by extensive clinical research. I've been a repeat donor for years and am now suddenly unable to pass the Hb requirement with this new machine. No more donating for me, I suppose.
