Had to visit the blonde shallot on a recent gals visit. It was worth the hype! I understand why this place has such beloved following. I am generally skeptical of the freshness of pre-made salad and sandwiches, but there is not a single piece of lettuce in their pre-made salad bowls that looks old at all! I went for lunch with a friend. There was no one there when we walked into the sparse space. As we walked around the deli a man walked out of the back of the store. There are not a ton of choices for lunch, at least when we were there. We ended up picking up a sandwich and a wrap to eat outside on some tables that are set up on the sidewalk. Absolutely delicious! Its a grab and go, but there are some tables outside. So good we bought more to bring home!

ordered the “pretzel chicken nuggets” that were cold and soggy. no instructions provided for how to cook/reheat. $18 for something completely unappetizing. very disappointed.
