Food was alright. Main entree was solid(cheese steak on sourdough) but the house hot chips were pretty wet and droopy. Atmosphere was loud. Had a hard time holding a conversation with someone across the table. Service was alright we were one of 2 groups in the restaurant and it took about 30 minutes for food to arrive. We weren't in a rush but for the quality of food it was slightly disappointing. Staff was friendly enough and prices were fair
Alright. I will start off with saying I am not an easy guy to please. I am kind of nit picky when it comes to food. Surprising considering I spend half my free time eating freeze dried meals. I also used to be a chef (a LONNNG time ago). That being said we decided to grace everyone in The Block with our "Fresh out-the field" straight back from elk hunting aromas and get some food that was actually edible. There are gluten-free sandwiches 😊 but there is a shared fryer so the wings/sides/fried chicken, etc aren't available. Staff was very friendly and place had a cool vibe.
