When deciding on care for a loved one, you only want the best. The staff at Somerby Edgewater is kind, compassionate and understanding always. They treat residents as if they are their own family and have open communication that makes us feel comforted knowing dad is safe and cared for. Becky, the wellness director, is one of the kindest people we have ever met. My mom moved over to Somerby in July. We really like the facility & the management team. We are excited to see the changes that corporate is bringing. I know that my mom & her puppy dog are well taken care of at Somerby. I appreciate all the love & support that our family receives from the Somerby family!
Terrible management and staff. Revolving door. MC patients are made to sit slumped over in the “dining area” so the very few caregivers can watch them. Many of the poor souls should be in bed resting, but are instead locked out of their rooms because there are not enough caregivers to manage checking on them all. Medication administration is fumbled on a regular basis. Caregivers constantly gossip and complain about the working conditions and management. The food is garbage.
