My Mom has been at The Somerby at Edgewater for a little over 8 months. The current leadership has done a remarkable job with staffing, meals, nursing and facilities! I would highly recommend touring the facility and meeting the staff if your loved one a place to live.

This facility was bought out by a new corporate management company September 2025. Our family was moved in prior to this buyout and it was a great experience, felt like they were well taken care of. Since this buyout, care has dramatically gone downhill, takes far too long to receive care after requesting, rooms and bathrooms are not kept clean, management shows zero concern or investment in their care or understanding of their health needs. Less than a year ago, I posted a raving review about The Blake at Edgewater. In September 2925 a new management company took over, Bridge Senior Living. They said nothing would change, they would only improve the facility. This is not true. They have ruined the essence of what The Blake was. I would not put my dog Somerby, nor any animal for that matter, let alone someone I loved.

Lots of people left for long periods of time. I realize they are short staffed, but there is no excuse. Some of these seniors have no one else, and this behavior is not acceptable. So sad to watch.
