I had no idea this company was still operating. I wrote the better business bureau about this company and they responded to the (bbb) and the company said I was just a disgruntled customer and you can't satisfy everyone. Well now, when you pay for a job, you expect to get what you paid for. I worked with the company and they gave one excuse after another why they didn't install the agreed speed bumps and I eventually ended up buying the manually installed speed bumps for $$325 and they didn't even give me the speed bumps. This company is unscrupulous and a fraud! Paid the money for work, demanded two checks prior to work starting. Have waited since September for work to start and have since taken to court and received judgment against hi. He didn't even show up in court. Changed banks so I cannot put a lien on his account!! Have notified the State about him!!!! He is not even registred with the city of Jacksonville, or the BBB!!! So Beware.
Beware of William Small and his Company Blacktop Paving. He is dishonest, fraudulent, and what little work he might get started will not be done correctly and most likely not be completed. Will not return phone calls. pictured is just one example of his work.
This company his a family owned and operated company that has been in business for three generations and has had a great record of good work and great relations with customers but due to a certain family with a lot of connections in the area they have made it there life’s goal to black ball and ruin this family business due to them not getting there unreasonable way .
