Lovely pub with excellent service
Nice food friendly staff lovely and clean would go again
Had a gorgeous Sunday roast and sticky toffee pudding. Staff were lovely, pub is beautiful. We didn't get seated until about half an hour after our booking time, but that was due to a large group earlier on who brought 7 extra people unannounced! So not really the pub's fault but did impact our experience a little. Staff did their best to speed things up for us as we had show tickets.
We had a really good Sunday roast here after dropping our daughter to the nearby Uni accommodation. Very good food and large portions. Nice choice of beers too.
My wife and I had a nice meal and good convo at your pub. The young bartender Andy was so professional and amiable. He chatted with us and explained the beers and food choices - which we enjoyed. But it was his service and attention to all the customers in this lovely pub that impressed us. Highly recommend your pub, and kudos to the management to keep staff like Andy on board. Such a great local pub with a nice ambiance.
