We spent two nights at the Black Walnut Inn, and cannot adequately describe how we enjoyed our stay. The Inn is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the ambiance it provides. You will also be able to enjoy delicious breakfasts prepared by Meaghan and have pleasant conversations with the rest of the owners. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay in beautifully appointed rooms each having it's own personal feel that is roomy but cozy at the same time. My son had lacrosse tournament at UMass Amherst and we didn’t really need two night stay which was minimum at most hotels in the area so I searched around and was so fortunate to find this lovely place!! Not only it is less than 2 miles from the college, it was a great clean comfortable place to sleep! We had a delicious breakfast in the morning made by the owner. Another bonus is there is a Japanese restaurant directly across the street which was superb so I highly recommend that as well. We will always check here first in ... read more
