Wonderful comfortable and quiet room with very comfortable bed. My wife on I stayed 2 nights. Darren and Megan were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was great! I particularly loved the home baked blueberry muffins. Yes we will return! Mike and Karen
Lovely lovely lovely! First of all.. you show up to a dead quiet establishment. Beautiful green remote area... and there's no check in desk! Just a bag waiting for you with your name and your key. I didn't realize how much I disliked the check in process until I did not have to do it! The area is so quiet and lush, and in driving distance of all Amherst has to offer. We spent two nights at the Black Walnut Inn, and cannot adequately describe how we enjoyed our stay. The Inn is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the ambiance it provides. You will also be able to enjoy delicious breakfasts prepared by Meaghan and have pleasant conversations with the rest of the owners. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay in beautifully appointed rooms each having it's own personal feel that is roomy but cozy at the same time.
