Great birthday swanky dinner spot! Brendan was a phenomenal server, knew the entire menu by heart in detail, accommodating with questions we had, and pleasant. Food was to die for, the duck was incredible and the lobster risotto could not have been better!
This restaurant is a gem. It's small and intimate with few tables and reservations are a must. The food is excellent and it's presentation is wonderful. The service is extremely professional with your needs taken care with your privacy guaranteed. They do not have a full bar but the wine list is extensive with a wine available for any price range. I will definitely be back and enjoy another meal at this wonderful restaurant.
This was one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have shared together.She got the filet as her entree and I got the duck both were plated artistically and flavor was astounding.Every course leading up to the main dish had a great balance of flavor and the staff was extremely attentive making for a wonderful 15 year anniversary dinner.
½ (rounds up to 5, but here’s why) The Black Pearl is a highly curated, high-end dining experience that absolutely stands out in the Dunedin/Clearwater area.
