Sunday lunch for 6 & baby on a lovely table in the corner of the bar with plenty of room for buggy & highchair. Food & service were excellent
Came for Sunday lunch and our experience was elevated by the exceptional service provided by Toby.
Beautiful pub set in truly stunning surroundings. The garden is especially - full of greenery, grape vines, and a peaceful atmosphere. The food was excellent; we had starters, Sunday roasts, and desserts, all generous portions and absolutely delicious. The only downside was that the chicken roast didn’t come with a Yorkshire pudding, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, service was good and we really enjoyed our visit.
Excellent restaurant,
A lovely, picturesque gastro pub, friendly hosts and an enjoyable meal. We never actually received the dessert menu requested, but that was probably a good thing as it was the perfect amount of food. It has to be said, the sign on the front door banning certain guests.... whilst I understanding the high emotions of the neighbourhood dispute, it is not the most positive of first impressions.
