Unexpected Treasure!. My family and I stopped by on our way through Lebanon on our way to Oklahoma for a graduation. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts, shrimp cornbread appetizers and well appointed martinis. The Sole with ragú and the surf and turf were excellently prepared. Not overly seasoned or saturated with sodium. Desert and after dinner drinks were on point. We had the apple crumble it was beautiful! Wonderful dining experience. Great food, excellent presentation, it's straight from the oven so to speak. We had St Louis ribs, fall off the bone, surf and turf, included steak, shrimp, buttery mashed potatoes and green beans, crisp with amazing flavor, and a surf n turf pasta with steak and crab meat in a creamy light red sauce with scallions. MUST READ: My wife and I traveled to MO for a tulip festival for our daughter. It was also my wife's birthday. I picked Bistro due to the fact it had some many great reviews AND it's a non profit. #1 one of the founders (Cathy) greeted us immediately and made sure we had a reservation (one is advised). She was cordial And made sure we were right at home.
