Great nurses/doctors. Great care. 10/10
I was originally supposed to deliver somewhere else, but because I was far from my planned hospital, I decided to go to M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center instead, and I don’t regret that decision one bit. This was the first time I truly felt heard during my birth experience. Every staff member I encountered was kind, respectful, and genuinely caring. I delivered a baby here 3 months ago. The team of delivery nurses was excellent, went about as well as one could hope and expect I suppose. The rest of my stay, not so much. Staff was extremely pushy about breast-feeding my baby when it was clearly just not working for me. And what is really irking me now, 14 weeks later and unreturned calls. I have not received the social security card I applied for in the hospital for my newborn because social security has no record of this. Kind of an important thing these days. Better in... read more
I can’t rate my experience at The Birthplace high enough. My nurses and OB were fantastic! I hope to have all of my deliveries here.
The team here at the birth center is amazing. Birthing experiences are SO different for each person. All you can ask for is options, patience, and a knowledgeable team of professionals. My OB, nurses, pediatricians, and lactation consultants were so caring over my 3 day stay and tended to the needs of my baby, myselfn and my husband without question. Even the nutritional staff were great. After my discharge we did feel supported. I highly recommend the Birthplace in Wyoming, MN.
