My husband and I had our first born earlier this year. Working with The Birth Companions was an incredible experience. Having such a knowledgeable, calm, and supportive doula by our side made us feel confident and cared for every step of the way. We truly enjoyed working with TBC, and the guidance, advocacy, and reassurance we received made a meaningful difference in our experience.
I was so fortunate to have Maya as my doula for my first baby a year ago. She was knowledgeable, calm, and supportive throughout the labor and in the weeks leading up. Sure, I had lovely nurses, but they change shifts every few hours and you never know what kind of day they're having, so it was an extra comfort having Maya as a constant, supportive presence. Maya was my birth doula. She is very nice. She shared a lot of her knowledge about birth preparation. Gave advice to me whenever I turned to her. She was companioned me for my whole delivery process. Encouraged me for the whole process, keep telling me that I was doing good and I can do it. Hold me in her arms when I was crying…I really appreciate that she was there!
