Overall, I would absolutely recommend and work with The Birth Companions again. We have Kaiser insurance and they were showcasing doula support in the OB department. Every mom needs a doula!! I worked with the Birth Companions and chose Bailey as my doula. She was fantastic!! As a new mom, I honestly felt so comfortable and prepared when working with Bailey. My husband and I had an amazing experience with the birthing companions. Sylvia was our doula and she was supportive, knowledgeable, and incredibly comforting throughout my pregnancy and labor. Her guidance made a huge difference in my birth experience. Highly recommend!
I took their services last year. From start to finish, everything was smooth. We had intro calls with multiple doula who were available during my estimated due date. We selected Bailey. I wanted to attempt unmedicated birth and she helped me and my husband prepare for it. She told us what to expect, taught us comfort measures that we can take during labour, gave me exercises to prepare my mind and body for it. Really terrible experience with this company. I reached out for help as a postpartum mom who had a traumatic birth for help. Deja and team sent me a rude email explaining they are not childcare providers. It’s very disheartening because everyone says as a mom to ask for help when you need it and when I asked for help they were very unprofessional with me.
