I first began seeing the staff at Boulder Birth in 2017 when I became pregnant with my first, and went on to receive all of my prenatal care, birth both of my kids, receive my postpartum care, and now see the staff for my regular health needs. From the moment I found this gem, I felt supported, heard, seen, and cared for. Couldn’t be happier with our experience working with the midwives and delivering our child at BBHH. Having previously delivered in a hospital setting, the warmth and accessibility of the birth center made us feel at home and allowed my partner to progress naturally and with the full attentiveness of the staff. They were also able to swiftly address the needs of mom and baby afree the birth and had us on our way mere hours later. My husband and I had a great experience at Boulder Birth Center. I felt so cared for in all of our prenatal appointments and supported throughout my pregnancy. This was my first baby and I had so many questions which were answered with empathy and expertise. My midwife Courtney and midwife assistant Adrienne were amazing; I was given gentle suggestions during labor and it was nice to labor intuitively around the room (and even outside in the grass!) I had a very painful experience at this facility while I was pregnant. Just weeks before giving birth, Child Protective Services was called on me with accusations that I believe were completely false. I had done everything I could to take care of myself and my baby, and the situation caused me an incredible amount of stress during an already vulnerable time.
