I had a very painful experience at this facility while I was pregnant. Just weeks before giving birth, Child Protective Services was called on me with accusations that I believe were completely false. I had done everything I could to take care of myself and my baby, and the situation caused me an incredible amount of stress during an already vulnerable time. We had an amazing experience at Boulder Birth and Holistic Health (BBHH), both through pregnancy and childbirth. It was not just the compassionate, thoughtful care we received from our midwives, doula, acupuncturist and front desk staff during birth that fostered this, but the training and education we received from BBHH throughout pregnancy; the generous time we got at each visit; the holistic approach to health; and the community that BBHH fosters. I would recommend BBHH to any expecting mother! The women here are incredible and my birthing experience was beyond anything I ever dreamed. There were rose petals and herbs in my tub, dim lights of candles and paper lanterns, and music of my choice. Everyone was experienced and calm, while also being enthusiastic and encouraging. I will forever come to BBHH for all my female health needs. I birthed one baby there, have gone in for birth control, mental health needs, and well-women checks. I have felt so seen and heard by each care provider I have interacted with. I appreciate the time and energy they have put into my care. Boulder Birth & Holistic Health is truly a special place. From prenatal care through labor and into postpartum support, I felt deeply cared for every step of the way. I don’t do well with medical settings, and their team made me feel incredibly safe, supported, and at ease. I’m so grateful for this experience.
